What’s New at Rush Creek this Spring

There’s a lot going on at Rush Creek Lodge this Spring, and we’re thrilled to get to share it with you. The second annual Groveland Grind bike race happens May 18th. We’re opening three new nature trails behind the lodge, and our Recreation team has added Glass Blowing and Yosemite Flight Tours to the mix!  Our Wellness program continues to expand and will soon offer classes on our new Yoga deck in the woods.

Spring has Sprung! Celebrate with us!

You heard it here first Spring has sprung in Yosemite! Which means ’tis the season for epic waterfalls, spectacular displays of spring wildflowers, snowcaps on the Sierra mountaintops, and plenty of room to roam Yosemite’s great outdoors!

#YosemiteSnowman Photo Contest

The snow has finally arrived this winter and we’re looking to celebrate. And what better way than a good old fashion #yosemitesnowman contest. We’re inviting our friends, family, Facebook friends and Instagram followers to share their BEST SNOWMAN picture with us! Come one, come all — we want to see your snowman!

#YosemiteFirst Photo Contest

Huge thank you to everyone who entered our #YosemiteFirst Photo Contest to celebrate our 1-Year Anniversary here at Rush Creek Lodge! It was so great to see all of your fun #YosemiteFirst moments – after all that’s what we’re all about here. Now the votes have been tallied and we are happy to share with you our six getaway winners!

Winemakers Gone Wild

For most people winter is a time to chase the sun or the slopes, but a select few know that the real magic awaits in the sparkle of Yosemite.  We wanted to elevate the Yosemite winter experience even further by bringing some great winemakers to hang out, share their wares, and let us play with some delicious food pairings.  Mission accomplished with our Winemaker Weekend series.

Small Plates, Bold Flavors

Since Chef Lemens’ arrival to Rush Creek Lodge in the beginning of October, he has set out to incorporate his passion of local seasonal ingredients into contemporary dishes that fit best for our mountain lodge setting. And needless to say, Lemens has boldly stepped up to the challenge of bringing our small plate section an all new taste as he incorporates his own spin on our lodge menu.
