After a day of exploring Yosemite, come back to Rush Creek for some good old fashioned fun! From nightly s’mores and stargazing to bocce ball and ziplining, there’s a full spectrum of activities for everyone. You’re free to play your way, every day at our Yosemite hideaway.

Outdoor Fun

From bocce ball to zip lining, horseshoes to hammocks, you can dream up all sorts of ways to play. Rush Creek also offers plenty of Yosemite tours, guided hikes & other great activities!

Swimming Pool Area

Swim in our saltwater pool, relax in the Jacuzzis, sip a specialty drink, indulge in our summer BBQ, all while taking in the beauty of the wilderness that surrounds you. Our pool area is truly special!

Our grand Main Lodge is your destination for all sorts of amusements day and night. This is where you’ll find our Restaurant, Tavern, Poolside Terrace, Guest Lounge and Game Room.

Guest Lounge

Sit back and relax by the fire, play games with friends and family, or stop by the Recreation Desk to sign up for a guided adventure, get expert planning advice for your own adventure, check out our affordable adventure gear rentals, and find out the latest updates to our schedule of daily activities.

Indoor Game Room

Our indoor game room offers great fun for kids of all ages, including classics such as Foosball, lever hockey and bumper pool, along with an assortment of board games and toys. The indoor game room is even complete with an amazing custom-designed tree house play structure that wraps around the room!

General Store

Our General Store, located at Reception, has something for everyone. We offer a great selection of freshly made food, trails snacks, souvenirs, apparel, historic artwork and more.

Arts & Crafts

Everyday we offer a variety of free and low cost activities. These activities are open to everyone and appeal to adults and kids alike. While most are free, a few crafts like tie dye require a small fee.

Nightly S’mores

Chocolate, a toasted, gooey marshmallow and a cinnamon graham cracker – it’s our favorite mountain treat, complimentary every night! Nothing beats a freshly made s’more!

Nature Trails

Choose from a variety of different nature trails located in the Stanislaus National Forest adjacent to the lodge. Take a short leisurely stroll among the trees, hike to a stunning vista, or adventure out on a longer hike or short mountain bike ride!

Equipment Rentals

It’s OK to travel light. We offer a variety of items for rent so you can try new activities and gear, and leave some of that bulky equipment at home. From bikes to paddle boards to snowshoes, we have it all!

Experience the night sky like never before! Up close to nature’s light show, you’ll be gazing through our 4.5” aperture digital Unistellar telescope that stacks long exposure photos in real time to deliver breathtaking views of galaxies, nebulae, and more!

Beer Tasting

Explore some of our favorite craft breweries. Taste a flight of different styles of California-brewed beers and learn about the techniques used to produce each one and the breweries that made them.

Glass Blowing Experience

Join our experts for an exciting introduction to the art of hot glass blowing, and create your very own piece of glass art. No experience is necessary. All take-home glass pieces need overnight annealing (a cooling process) and will be ready for pick up the next day.

Rush Creek Yoga

A class designed for those looking for a slower class and slower way to tap into embodiment.

Yosemite Paint Party

Grab your friends and family and join us for a step-by-step canvas painting party with our experienced and enthusiastic local artists. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind Yosemite creation to take home and plenty of great memories.

Basket Weaving

This class guides students through how to make a traditional California Native-style one-rod coiled basket.

Yosemite Cross-Stitch

Learn how to do the traditional peyote stitch to start making a pair of earrings using glass seed beads.

Gemstone Bead Bracelet

Make a beautiful bracelet keepsake of your Yosemite adventure using a variety of real gemstone, glass, wood, and other natural material beads.
