OS: “Spectacular morning at Glacier Point in late September. First time in the park did not disappoint!”
RC: The saying always holds true that the early bird catches the worm. In this case the worm being this view!
EM: “Jack is my service dog, but he’s also a local guide and certified junior explorer! He was ready to show other guests around Rush Creek Lodge & Spa while we were there. He highly recommends the roasted marshmallows while warming up next to the fire pits.”
RC: What a privilege it was to meet a certified junior explorer. He can now add a Rush Creek Ranger badge to his vest!
While we are all pet lovers at Rush Creek, we only allow registered service animals (like Jack!) in or around guest rooms, in vehicles or on property.

CC: “Our family of six loved having the entire spa to ourselves one morning during family hours. It was our 2, 5, 6, and 9 year old’s first time at a spa. We enjoyed all of the amenities, especially the Aromatherapy Steam Room and Warm Waterfall Coves. Of course, taking four small children to the spa isn’t really relaxing for the parents, but we had fun sharing this unique resort experience with them!”

KL: “Perfect location, classic mountain architecture, but updated and modern amenities. Kids LOVED the outdoor and indoor play areas – helped offset the tough hikes in Yosemite 🙂 We were surprised by how good the food was – since there are few other food options in the area, this was important! Kids also loved the Alexa speaker in the room :)”

KL: “We visited Rush Creek Lodge and Yosemite in early April of this year. In a last minute change of plans we decided to go on the Mist Trail but took the much more challenging (and snowy) winter route because of the snow. I am so glad we did, because it was our favorite hike 😊 And you can’t top this view of Vernal falls once we reached Clarke’s Point!”
RCL: We love when a challenging hike has an epic reward like this! We’re so proud of you for making it all the way!
EC: “My son had the time of his life opening a geode with his dad. We love Rush Creek, and all of the fun activities the Lodge offers!”
RCL: What’s more fun than smashing rocks with your dad!?
JA: “This was taken on April 11 on the Wapama Falls Trail on the north side of the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. There was some kind of red flower in the moss beds that really made this already exquisite setting pop! We only saw a few dozen people the whole time and in the late afternoon felt like we had the whole place to ourselves!!”
RCL: The colors in this picture are captivating! We’re so happy you were rewarded with a quiet trail. This is what Hetch Hetchy is known and loved for!
