Celebrate NatureBridge & Outdoor Youth Education

In the spirit of celebrating our first year, we’d like to celebrate everyone that makes outdoor youth education a priority. Nature truly sparks something in everyone of us, and can have the greatest impact on youth. To see organizations in our area, like NatureBridge, work so diligently to give students the setting and the resources to ignite that spark is something else.

YARTS Comes to Rush Creek Lodge!

Starting May 18th, Yosemite Area Regional Transport Service, affectionately known as YARTS, will be stopping right here at Rush Creek Lodge. The YARTS is a public transportation service for Yosemite National Park and its surrounding area, with multiple routes and stops along the way covering all of Yosemite’s main entrances.

Yosemite Cellars at Rush Creek Lodge

We are always proud to serve Yosemite Cellars wine in our on site Tavern, and by the bottle in our General Store. So it goes without saying that we are excited to announce our most recent offering involving our favorite local vineyard, a sunset wine tasting each Monday night, in April, right here at Rush Creek Lodge.

Winemakers Gone Wild

For most people winter is a time to chase the sun or the slopes, but a select few know that the real magic awaits in the sparkle of Yosemite.  We wanted to elevate the Yosemite winter experience even further by bringing some great winemakers to hang out, share their wares, and let us play with some delicious food pairings.  Mission accomplished with our Winemaker Weekend series.

Small Plates, Bold Flavors

Since Chef Lemens’ arrival to Rush Creek Lodge in the beginning of October, he has set out to incorporate his passion of local seasonal ingredients into contemporary dishes that fit best for our mountain lodge setting. And needless to say, Lemens has boldly stepped up to the challenge of bringing our small plate section an all new taste as he incorporates his own spin on our lodge menu.

Localizing California Waters 2016 Conference

All of us here at Rush Creek are excited about the upcoming Localizing California Water Conference, hosted just down the road at our sister property, the Evergreen Lodge. This progressive conference serves as a hands-on intensive for water conservation and reuse on both personal and commercial levels.

Introducing the Primo Highway 120!

While the crew is hard at work putting the finishing touches on our new resort, some of us are having more than their fair share of the fun. What could be better than planning and testing the menu items that will delight all of our visitors?
